Do you know who Amy Sherman-Palladino is? She’s the genius behind Gilmore Girls and the even more spectacular The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Between these two shows, Sherman-Palladino has become a hero of mine. If Amazon doesn’t renew TMMM, Bezos is going to get a nasty letter from me. Maybe an organized protest. (Seriously, if you haven’t watched The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, you’re missing out!)

Bunheads recently popped up in my Hulu account, and I decided to check it out. To be honest, it was the title that grabbed me. It sounded funny and irreverent. I’m not a ballet dancer and have never even considered buying tickets to a ballet, but I’m a sucker for dance shows, so I decided to give it a try.

When I saw Amy Sherman-Palladino’s name flashed across the screen during the opening scene, I literally gasped. Then I hit pause, grabbed the internet, and researched the show. Sadly, it only has one season, and I’m burning through it (because Sherman-Palladino!!!).

All of which has led me to realize, I need a bigger office.

Why?

Because it’s really difficult to do this in the limited floor space not taken up by my desk, elliptical, bookcases, book boxes, cat beds, and printer paper.

Especially if you have balance issues, zero training, and flail around a lot while you do it.

But you try watching this show and not feeling the urge to take up some ballet moves!
